Distinct brews rooted in the culture of California’s Central Coast. We craft both classic lagers and ales, alongside botanical-infused beers made with ingredients from the hills and farms of Ojai.

BEER & WINE GARDEN

A working brewery and winery in the heart of Ojai — with beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks made entirely on-site from locally sourced ingredients. We started brewing in 2017, opened our tap room in 2021, and began making wine and zero-proof beverages in 2023. Everything we pour is small-batch, locally sourced, and made just a few steps from the glass it's served in.

Weekends are when we come alive: live music, rotating food trucks, and guest chef pop-ups on the patio. During the week, it's a quieter spot for a flight, a pint, a glass of wine, or a craft non-alcoholic pour. Pull up to the free pool table, grab a round of corn hole, or settle in with one of our other games. Kids and dogs welcome. Groups of any size can drop in without a reservation — check our events page for the full calendar of live music, chef nights, and seasonal happenings.

Take a bottle home from our retail shelves, pick up a gift, or just stop between rides — we're on Bryant Street, steps from the Ojai Valley Bike Path, with easy on-site parking. Open daily and everyone's welcome.

FERMENTED WITH A LITTLE BIT OF MISCHIEF

Ojai beer, wine and beyond. .

We're a band of misfits and rebels — a winemaker, a restaurateur, an engineer, a brewer, and a musician with one mission: make something unique, vintage after vintage.

If we can brew it, infuse it, or ferment it, we do — it's how we express the valley in as many forms as possible.

Beer is where we started and where most of our energy still lives. We brew clean lagers and approachable ales alongside a rotating lineup of botanical beers infused with local ingredients, all built to pair with food. Unlike most breweries, we skip reverse osmosis and leave Ojai's hard mineral water intact — because that water is Ojai.

We also make zero-proof drinks infused with Ojai-grown citrus and herbs. And in 2023, Fabien Castel joined us after 20+ years at The Ojai Vineyard to launch Side Street Wine — an alternative winery inside a brewery, reviving forgotten vineyards and honoring Ojai's agricultural roots.

SMALL ON PURPOSE

We're small on purpose. Locally owned, independently run, and built to stay that way — the kind of place where the people who make the beer and wine are also the people pouring it. Sustainability isn't a bullet point on our website; it's how we get through harvest.

Nothing goes to waste. Grape skins and stems are rehydrated into Piquette — a refreshing, low-ABV wine French cellar hands have been making for centuries, available only on tap. Surplus wine goes down the road to Ventura Spirits, where it's distilled into the base for fortified wines like our L'Apero Vermouth. What's left — grape pomace, stems, and the brewery's spent grain — heads to Connor's Farm, where it feeds local pigs and enriches the land that feeds us back. Every part of the harvest is used, repurposed, or returned to the valley. Natural winemaking, elevated craft, and a small footprint held on purpose.
